1980 UN Women’s Conference documents now in UN Digital Library
As part of its mission to preserve and provide access to historical UN documents, the Dag Hammarskjöld Library has digitized the documents of the conference in all official UN languages.
The United States Permanent Mission to the United Nations recently hosted a commemoration event at Hunter College to mark the 80th anniversary of the first Security Council meeting on American soil.

A display illustrating the Journal’s development from a printed daily record of UN meetings to a modern multilingual platform is on view in the Library’s Second Floor Reading Room through 1 April.
